OMG!!! Awesome! I just started reading & next thing I know it's waaaay past my bedtime! Love it! Love it! Love it! Melanie is an amazing storeyteller! I feel like she's taking me back in time w/her!
This is a great book. If you love a thrill ride romance book then this is for you. Get this book a cup of whatever you fancy and buckle up for a ride. Can't wait for the next one.
This is a surprisingly different story full of unexpected twists and turns. I can't say that I've ever read another story quite like it. Give it a chance and you won't be disappointed.
I don't usually pick up books to read unless it was maybe an owners manual to a car I've never driven, or maybe instructions to a board game. Laid 2 Rest received 5 stars because this book is one of very few that has been able to keep me fully entertained and I wanted to finish reading it until the end. This book had me on an emotional roller coaster, which was a truly awesome feeling. I can't wait to see what the author has to write next.
I got this book under the free books and it looked interesting until I picked it up to read it. I could NOT put this book down. I read the whole thing in one day. I love this book and I REALLY hope the author writes more books. I will snatch them up in a second. You wont be sorry you got this book.
This book was hilarious for all the wrong reasons. As an English teacher, you'd think I'd find grammatical mistakes frustrating, or annoying - but this woman's were so persistent (and so much worse than those of my non-native speakers) that I found them hilarious instead.
The story-line itself was fine, if MASSIVELY inconsistent, though it stops being cohesive at around halfway through the book. The author most definitely should have stopped at that point! But the hilarity of the following failures made the book worth the rest of the read.
Congratulations to the author for finishing a book, but it needs a SERIOUS amount of work. Unless, that is, she wants it to remain a comedy. Brilliant!

I purchased this book yesterday and finished it in 5 hours! I never put it down. I was glued from chapter one! This is an excellent read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.....Melanie you have a talent and I thought the book was phenomenal. Writing seems to be your true calling!!
